A Stormwater Settling System
StormwateRx introduces Clara, a stormwater settling system, as its newest addition to their stormwater treatment system line. Clara provides a clear solution for heavy solids and oil removal by using a plug-flow stormwater separator-style system. This affordable system uses a combination of pre-engineered chambers to remove pollutants in an easy to maintain configuration.
Clara is an optimal choice for first flush stormwater treatment due to its integrated high-flow bypass weir and dual settling chambers. The combination provides optimal removal of floatable materials, grit, and settleable solids all within a gravity driven system. Unlike vortex style separators, pollutants are contained off-line within the Clara system until it is ready to be maintained.
Clara is available in various configurations with treatment flow rates of up to 1100 gpm, sediment storage capacity of up to 10 cubic yards, and oil storage capacity of up to 650 gallons. With the large treatment capacity and its efficiency removing floatable materials, grit, and settleable solids Clara is the natural pre-treatment choice for the StormwateRx Aquip®.
