Canal Boatyard.

Canal Boatyard, located in Seattle on the ship canal off the Puget Sound, is a 2-acre boatyard servicing recreational and commercial boats up to 65' feet in length. Canal is a family owned boatyard that is committed to keeping the Puget Sound clean and pollution free.

In 2009 Canal Boatyard took up the initiative for a cleaner Puget Sound and installed an Aquip® 110SBE Enhanced Stormwater Filtration System. This Aquip stormwater treatment BMP is designed specifically to remove fine particulates that cause turbidity, and dissolved pollutants commonly found at boatyards such as heavy metals (including copper, zinc and lead) and petroleum hydrocarbons.
