Calvin “Cal” Noling, PE, founded StormwateRx LLC in 2006, leveraging his engineering background and more than 20 years of experience developing water purification and stormwater treatment systems for industry. Mr. Noling served as Director of Industrial Business for Stormwater Management, Inc. (later Contech Stormwater Solutions) from 2002-2006, and in various business management and engineering functions for CH2M HILL from 1991-2002 and Metcalf & Eddy (now AECOM) from 1987-1991. Noling holds several patents and other industry credentials and has served in volunteer leadership positions with organizations such as Johnson Creek Watershed Council throughout his career. Lanz Fritz, has served StormwateRx since 2009 and brings more than 10 years of executive level experience in the stormwater industry. He was formerly CFO and VP of Operations for Stormwater Management, Inc. (SMI) and helped grow SMI significantly from its first full year of business in 1996 to his departure in 2006. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Fritz consulted with small businesses, and developed additional expertise in management of small and emerging companies. Early in his career Mr. Fritz was an auditor for Deloitte & Touch and Grant Thornton, and spent a year as a financial consultant for Hollywood Entertainment (Hollywood Video), Northwest Pipe & Co., and Oregon Steel Mills. He received his BA in Economics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College and has been a licensed CPA since 1995.
Ayn Generes, PE, CPSWQ, joined StormwateRx as Engineering Manager in 2007. Ayn is responsible for product design, new product engineering, quoting and pre- and post-installation product support and manages a team of interdisciplinary engineers, designers and scientists across StormwateRx various offices. As both a civil engineer and a Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality, Ayn is a frequent speaker at stormwater industry events. Prior to joining StormwateRx, Ayn was a lead sales engineer with Stormwater Management, Inc. (now Contech Construction Products). She has a BS degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
Dan Joseph, EIT, is responsible for research and development of new stormwater filtration media formulations, system processes and configurations of StormwateRx products. He joined StormwateRx full time in 2009 after completing a summer internship in 2008. Dan is a two time suma cum laude graduate holding two degrees: a BS in Environmental Engineering from Humboldt State University and a BS in Soil Science from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Rocky Hall, Operations Manager, oversees production and installation of StormwateRx products as well as post-installation customer service and maintenance of systems. A veteran of the stormwater and water treatment products industry, he joined StormwateRx in 2008 after serving as Operations Manager for Stormwater Management, Inc. (later called Contech Stormwater Solutions) for 5 years.
Becky Banks, Marketing Coordinator, has managed all marketing activities for StormwateRx since she joined the company in September 2006. Prior to joining StormwateRx, Becky worked in marketing for Stormwater Management, Inc. She has a BS in natural resources from Oregon State University.
