Management Team

Calvin Noling | Sales, CEO

Calvin “Cal” Noling, PE, founded StormwateRx LLC in 2006, leveraging his engineering background and more than 20 years of experience developing water purification and stormwater treatment systems for industry. Mr. Noling served as Director of Industrial Business for Stormwater Management, Inc. (later Contech Stormwater Solutions) from 2002-2006, and in various business management and engineering functions for CH2M HILL from 1991-2002 and Metcalf & Eddy (now AECOM) from 1987-1991.  Noling holds several patents and other industry credentials and has served in volunteer leadership positions with organizations such as Johnson Creek Watershed Council throughout his career.  He has a BS and MS in Environmental Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in several states. Lanz Fritz

Lanz Fritz | CPA, CFO, COO

Lanz Fritz, has served StormwateRx since 2009 and brings more than 10 years of executive level experience in the stormwater industry. He was formerly CFO and VP of Operations for Stormwater Management, Inc. (SMI) and helped grow SMI significantly from its first full year of business in 1996 to his departure in 2006. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Fritz consulted with small businesses, and developed additional expertise in management of small and emerging companies. Early in his career Mr. Fritz was an auditor for Deloitte & Touch and Grant Thornton, and spent a year as a financial consultant for Hollywood Entertainment (Hollywood Video), Northwest Pipe & Co., and Oregon Steel Mills. He received his BA in Economics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College and has been a licensed CPA since 1995.

Engineering | Ayn Generes, PE, CPSWQ

Ayn Generes, PE, CPSWQ, joined StormwateRx as Engineering Manager in 2007. Ayn is responsible for product design, new product engineering, quoting and pre- and post-installation product support and manages a team of interdisciplinary engineers, designers and scientists across StormwateRx various offices. As both a civil engineer and a Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality, Ayn is a frequent speaker at stormwater industry events.  Prior to joining StormwateRx, Ayn was a lead sales engineer with Stormwater Management, Inc. (now Contech Construction Products). She has a BS degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.

Research & Development | Dan Joseph, EIT

Dan Joseph, EIT, is responsible for research and development of new stormwater filtration media formulations, system processes and configurations of StormwateRx products. He joined StormwateRx full time in 2009 after completing a summer internship in 2008. Dan is a two time suma cum laude graduate holding two degrees: a BS in Environmental Engineering from Humboldt State University and a BS in Soil Science from University of Missouri-Columbia.

Operation & Maintenance | Rocky Hall

Rocky Hall, Operations Manager, oversees production and installation of StormwateRx products as well as post-installation customer service and maintenance of systems. A veteran of the stormwater and water treatment products industry, he joined StormwateRx in 2008 after serving as Operations Manager for Stormwater Management, Inc. (later called Contech Stormwater Solutions) for 5 years.

Marketing | Becky Banks

Becky Banks, Marketing Coordinator, has managed all marketing activities for StormwateRx since she joined the company in September 2006. Prior to joining StormwateRx, Becky worked in marketing for Stormwater Management, Inc. She has a BS in natural resources from Oregon State University.

Customer Service | Meghan Stansell

Meghan Stansell is the first contact you'll speak to at StormwateRx. Stansell oversees customer care and is a graduate of Oregon State University in Environmental Science.

Advisor | Robert MacLellan

Robert MacLellan has served as an advisor to StormwateRx since 2008. His career encompasses restaurant and retail experience in both the corporate and the entrepreneurial environment. As president of MacLellan & Associates, Inc., a small business consulting company with an emphasis on guiding companies through the explosive growth stages of their business, he has advised clients including Safeco Insurance (Winmar Development), Stouffers, Minit-lube, Embassy Suites, Sylvan Learning Systems, Papa Aldo's, Silicon Technology Corporation, and numerous other restaurants and retailers. From January 2000 to April 2005, Mr. MacLellan served on the Board of Directors for Stormwater Management, Inc. Mr. MacLellan began his entrepreneurial career as an owner and operator of several franchises including Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers, Blockbuster Video and Baskin-Robbins ice cream. His corporate experience includes tenure with companies such as Fotomat, PepsiCo's Taco Bell division, and Marriott Corporation's Farrell's division where he served as a vice president.







 







Advisor | David Pollock

David Pollock’s extensive, international business career has spanned 35 years and three continents. He has advised StormwateRx since 2009. Mr. Pollock served as the CEO of Stormwater Management, Inc. from 1998 - 2005, where he lead dramatic growth and created an acclaimed internal environment for the company’s employees. Mr. Pollock has had a broad international career with leading companies including: Cummins Engine Company, Onan Corporation, Hyster/NMHG, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug and Piston Bully. He is a senior advisor to Ashoka, the organization which supports social entrepreneurs globally, and is also a Director of Ecotrust Forest LLC in addition to actively participating in and supporting a number of other councils, non-profit organizations and philanthropic endeavors. Mr. Pollock has degrees from the University of Redlands (BA) and the University of Virginia (MBA) and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Korea from 1969-1972..







 







Advisor | Michael Noling

Michael Noling, who has been an advisor to StormwateRx since 2007.  He serves on several successful public and private corporate boards and is active in the leadership of several civic and community organizations. He currently chairs the Board and the Audit Committee for LEVEL Studios, Inc., a private independent digital agency that amplifies global brands across desktop, Web and mobile environments. Formerly, Mr. Noling was President and Chief Executive Officer for Wavefront Technologies as well as serving as a member of the Board of Directors for several years in the mid 1990s. His extensive consulting and management experience includes a 30-year tenure at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) where he became a Managing Partner responsible for their Western US Consulting practice. Mr. Noling served as a White House Fellow for one year in the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB). He received a BS in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Mr. Noling holds a CPA certificate..







StormwateRx LLC (pronounced "storm water Rx") manufactures stormwater treatment and filtration BMPs for industrial facilities. Our systems are used for stormwater pollution control and NPDES Permit compliance.
